Full Refund: Any Melissa Credits purchased and not used will be fully refundable for 60 days. Refund requests must be submitted in writing here within 60 days and detail the reason for the return.
Diminishing Returns: After 60 days, the corresponding refund amount for unused credits will decrease by 10% each month until reaching 0% at the end of the year.
Melissa Credits: There is no guarantee of any value of Melissa credits after one year from the date of purchase and credits can be reset to zero at the behest of Melissa.
Web Service “Cloud” Subscriptions
Full Refund: Product Subscriptions canceled within 60 days of purchase will be fully refundable for any unused transactions. Used transactions are non-refundable and will be subtracted from the refund.
SLA Remedies: If the service level agreement (SLA) for services is not met, refunds will be issued according to the specific terms outlined in the SLA.
Subscription Renewal Cancellation: Subscription Renewal Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing within 60 days before the end of the service period.
Reference Data, List Products, and Service Bureau
Full Refund: Any data product or service bureau product or service can be refunded in full within 14 days with satisfactory cause. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and detail the reason for the return.
Partial Refund: Melissa Address Table data is eligible for a 50% refund within 14 days of purchase.
Outsourced Data: Any data outsourced to a third-party specialist is subject to have their royalties deducted from the refund.
General Refund Policies
Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 21 business days to process.
Royalties: After the refund period ends, no refunds will be issued.
Force Majeure: The company shall not be liable for refunds in cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government actions.
Refund Fee: A 3% or $10 (whichever is greater) refund fee may be charged for processing refund requests.

Service Period Definitions
Pay-As-You-Go Credits: The service period for pay-as-you-go credits starts from the date of purchase and ends one year later.
Subscriptions: The service period for subscriptions starts from the date of purchase and ends one year later, unless canceled earlier or part of a special a three-year product subscription.
